8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has gone downhill quickly over the years. We have seen a decline in our children's learning and increased anxiety. More bullying by staff and students. Administration covers up anything that unpleasant. The new admin does not discipline and students are physically abused and bullied. Principal tells the bullying student to sit in her office for 10 min offers the student a huge. Then let's the student go back to the class . Even if that student had just thrown a chair, stabbed someone with a pencil, hit a student in the face with their boot... All the while the parents of the student who got injured is never called. The teachers either do nothing because the principal won't do anything to back then up or just watch and laugh. Many teachers are so rude to students it is astounding. The students are not learning anything that is not on the state test. Math and Language Arts... but only if it's on the state test. Writing, Handwriting skills and spelling are not taught. I am sending my children to a different district. We have had enough of the darkness that the school portrays after having addressed this issue many times. Good staff leave every year and are replaced by the clique or unqualified people that will just go along."Head in sand" is the theme for many community members. They don't go into the school and actually see things. They believe the facade of the newsletters and fake smile and waves by the principal.Find a better school environment for your elementary child.Teacher Review1y ago9 Reviews - Waynesville High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school. Don't let one persons experience turn you away. Ive known generations of families from Waynesville and they're all wonderful, good hearted people. I've never heard anything bad about the school system until reading the other review on here. "Consistently 20mins with a number of alternate routs if needed. 48 gets a little repetitive as main route to anything. "

"Centerville, Ohio, is a charming gem known for its rich history and welcoming community! One of its standout features is its collection of stunning historic stone houses—more than any other city in Ohio—giving it a unique architectural character. The town also boasts beautiful parks like Stubbs Park, where people can enjoy concerts and scenic trails. Plus, Centerville's vibrant sense of community shines through in its local events and friendly atmosphere. It's a lovely place to call home or visit!"

"Neighborhood has a lot of diversity in age groups. Quiet area that has ongoing improvements in quality of life. People are nice and welcoming to minorities which is a huge plus. Centerville police do patrol neighborhoods. Lots of family friendly activities in the outdoors which will feel like a private family moment."

"The commute is great because I’m close to the major highways. Makes commuting easy. The public transport system isn’t as developed as major cities. Definitely need a car"

"Can be difficult to commute depending on the time of day. Downtown CENTERVILLE during 8am or 5pm is very busy with kids getting out of school and people headed home from work. "

"Typical Ohio suburb. Virtually crime free. Very conventional population. Very few progressives. City is quick to fine you for putting your garbage can in the wrong place or parking a trailer in your driveway. High rated schools but no school choice like you get in a decent sized city. It's a safe place to live and a good place to invest but it's pretty boring. The parks and forests are gorgeous, but there's nothing else to do here besides go shopping."
