"Please keep an eye on your children, especially when it comes to dogs (not kept on a leash) & traffic (the speed limit is 35mph on the main road & 25mph is neighborhoods, but some residents go much faster)!!"

"To the town of Pahoa it’s only about nine minutes. For a commute to Hilo it’s closer to 35. Most of the things that we need are within a 10 minute drive. But this allows for quiet neighborhoods and fairly dark skies at night for stargazing. Traffic is usually light except when there is construction. Even when is there is it’s usually only a momentary delay. "

"Dog should be leashed or fenced at all time. Most dogs are good tempered, certain breads do scares people and there children . Most home owners want a guard dog. "

"Swap meets are cool. I wish they maybe opened an hour later and stay open the extra hour. Dog walking, now that’s cool! Good exercise for man and beast! Nice meeting folks while walking."
