10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI strongly advise against enrolling your children in this school, as it can severely hinder their academic prospects. The teaching staff seem more focused on just going through the motions to keep their jobs, rather than providing a comprehensive education. The curriculum is woefully inadequate, and the school fails to encourage or support students in participating in prestigious competitions like Math Kangaroo or Olympiads. Any academic success can be attributed to external tuition centers, not the school's efforts, which clearly indicates a lack of care and dedication from the teachers and administration.Parent Review11mo ago19 Reviews - Thomas Russell Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been extremely disappointed in the school. Not sure what people see when they rate it as one of the best in MUSD. The only reason why anybody would stay here is due to their familiar friends who move from elementary school together. It’s a long way before they can provide equal opportunity to all students and I am doubtful if that’s possible for with their extremely incompetent teachers. I’m surprised how some of these teachers sleep peacefully after spoiling futures of young ones!Parent Review8mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Junipero Dr #1.

"I've lived in Milpitas for ten years and it's rapidly transforming. The schools are top tier in the newer residential neighborhoods and there's a nice urban+suburban feel to the area. Trader Joe's , Great Mall, and many parks are close by and it's very safe. Only Main Street remains an eyesore."

"It’s decent taking the 880 fwy but it can get congested. I have even taken the streets some days to and/or from work. With traffic it is about a 25-30 minute commute. Without traffic it is less than 15 minutes."

"It’s all cemented for a brisk walk around this neighborhood, atleast that’s how I feel with my feet already being tired as they do, the concrete only makes the reality of fatigue all the more real.. if you ask me, a decent park that’s animal friendly is all my dog & I would ever welcome & need because he’s worth it.."
