This school creates an atmosphere different from any other school I have visited. The teachers can see the potential in the student and are willing to work to bring it out. There are major rules in place for the prevention of bullying and hazing. Also, Woodmore has had great success in the realm of OGT and Standardized testing. I regret nothing of our family's affiliation with this school.

My son has been attending Woodmore Elementary since he was in the second grade and it has been a fantastic school when he was in second grade he had a fabulous teacher name, Miss Medlin she did a very good job with my son the following year my daughter attended Woodmore in kindergarten she did very well. Also, I can’t remember what her teachers name was but now my son is in the fifth grade and loves his teachers very much miss Harshman, Miss Stidham and Miss Morrow did a fantastic job with him. Also, he is an honor roll student, and my daughter is now in second grade and she’s in Miss Medlin‘s class and she’s doing quite well. Far as I know with the teachers and the staff, they do their best to keep our kids safe and teach them as well as possible. There was one incident where I picked up my kids from the school early and I had to come in. There was a lady in the office that was also picking up a child And the lady check to see if her name was on the list to pick up the child and it wasn’t she informed her that she needed to call the parents. The lady began to cuss her out and she said ma’am it is for the safety of the kids, the lady was not Nice to the lady at the desk. The lady at the desk continue to try to call the parents to make sure that the lady was OK to pick up the child. Sometimes things can be changed if parents would just communicate with the teacher and the staff from what I understand all they are trying to do is keep your kids safe and teach them to be better and great people in life , so I think Woodmore is a fantastic school and I give it a five star .
