5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved into the district when my kids were in 1,2 and 5th grade. My kids were well below grade average and had been bullied at their old school. Big Tree staff are excellent!! Even though 2 of my children repeated a grade, the staff works hard, communicates my children needs and my children are happy and learning! My children peers and other parents are nice and friendly. I wish I could give 10 stars rating because Big Tree Elementary is EXCELLENT!Parent Review10y ago4 Reviews - Frontier Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall its bad. For starters the bus drivers for the buses are rude, even worser for the smaller buses because they are SO STRICT, and MADE UP RULES. Like if I had bring a trombone, they would've made me leave it at home BUT THE SCHOOL'S TEACHERS AND THE BAND TEACHER SAYS YOU CAN BRING HOME IT JUST FINE. Also the special ed system I kinda horrid. most teachers are rude and barely could take care of students. Every day my so would be complaining how he dispices school mostly because of his "useless classes" those are gym and art, but mostly because is math teacher and the students. The students are loud, rude, disruptive and overall rude. The math teacher would just flip out. Its mostly the special ed system and the buses to be fixed.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Frontier Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrontier is the classic example of a once-great school that gets dragged down by the issues from its central office. The district has been in financial crisis for years and that along with the high Superintendent turnover really has impacted the high school in a negative way. Many great people have had to be laid off and strong programs cut, while class sizes have gotten bigger. Both students and teachers have grown discouraged about the district, and a lot of students are just down right apathetic about education. There's a lot of potential in this building but it's being dragged down from all the drama stemming from the district office. Also, it's downright impossible to substitute teach in this building because the secretaries love to reassign you to cover other classes during the day.Teacher Review10y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Jackson.

"Grew up in the area many years ago and the biggest change I see is the difference in the ppl themselves. They use to argue n fight all the time whereas no everyone talks to eachother instead of fighting which changes the face of the area. Keep up the great work cause there’s more to do"

"Outside of the usual neighbors are friendly etc people take care of their property and will say something to you if your property starts to get out of hand. There is a lot of pride in the area and their properties which I happen to like very much for obvious reasons. "

"The kids in the neighborhood frequently have “bottle drives” to earn money for their sports teams or scout troops. Great area for walking (getting your steps in) as it’s fully side-walked/lit. Always have a neighborhood yard/garage sale at least once a year. "

"Living in Boston Ma in the middle of the city, there’s not much for children other than organized sports. It’s much too dangerous for them to play in the streets like in past years there. It does offer more in educational focus’s which does develope and offer more there. I live near all grade levels of schooling all the way as high as you wish to go. School sports with good minds produce better well rounded individuals personally speaking as many of my high school friends will attest. Even my daughter received high enough honors with sport and tae Keon do jr black belt to get scholarships to college of her choice. Activities are through the YMCA and other organize sports in which I coached boys baseball and help start girls softball for the first time in my area and has become a huge success expanding year after year there producing some good quality girls for high school softball.
