    Weaving Water is a cohousing community. Cohousing is a community designed to foster connection. Physical spaces allow neighbors to interact with others just outside private homes easily. Imagine living in a sustainably-built home within a kid-focused intentional community, surrounded by meadows and wooded trails, with common gardens, playgrounds, a workshop, and a common house with a sunset view. Common areas, including kitchen, dining space, and gardens, bring people together. Collaborative decision-making builds relationships. Cohousing = Private homes + Shared space + Intentional community. We are creating a collaborative neighborhood that encourages people to slow down and connect with family, community, and the natural world. See our individual listings for green building features. Since we will have a condominium form of ownership, the HOA fees will include reserve funds to cover roof replacements, exterior cladding, windows, and Commons House repairs. It will also include grounds/Common House maintenance, common house repairs, community governance training, and HOA management. The monthly amount will be based on the size of your unit and the number of residents. We anticipate the range will be from $150-400 month. Of that total, $85-240 is put in an account as reserve funds so the HOA can pay for repairs and replacement of the exterior of your home.       "Brier creek area, really quiet and safe. Durham has some very great area to live. Best thing is that you are at the center of everything so it doesn't take long to get anywhere. Rush Hour traffic will add to your cummute going and coming to with because it's NC and no one knows how to merge."

      "It is a well established community that is weathering the storm that afflicts a city in sudden sporadic growth We will weather this storm and any other . This place is called Home to many whom have lived here through Three or more generations and many newcomers who chose to make this place their new home. I wish I could find an appropriate rental here. I am on the edge in a house I have afforded to live in for twenty-nine yrs. The house was recently sold and I find that I may be under the bridge at age 79 due to so-called gentrification . Durham is known for undermining it's citizens in the name of progress. It's a backhanded way of doing things but it will come out alright because the so-called little people come together when they realize what is happening."
