10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving graduated from this school a year ago, there were a few overwhelming issues. Number one, the amount of students is insanely high, you cannot find seating anywhere unless you go into a classroom but then sometimes you cannot eat there or talk with the people you know. You cannot walk the halls and if you are in the wrong section, you get completely blocked out of the classrooms. Number two, half of the time the teachers are rude or care more about your grades than how you are doing and teaching their subject.Other Review1mo ago23 Reviews - Alston Ridge Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn our experience this school has not been the best. Teachers never reach out unless there’s a behavior issue. Our son has a 504, not only did they ignore it for the past 8 months, when I brought it to the attention of our child’s ELA teacher she replied she was aware… so I guess a IEP or 504 is optional for her and the school. Our son had four missing assignments and she didn’t reach out once, the only reason I had contact was because I forced my son to add us to the email. Then she refused to supply any information on one of the assignments so I could help him- she replied that she spoke directly to him like that is sufficient- he’s a MINOR and a parent is reaching out to support you and him and that’s how you want to act? Besides the fact the entire IEP/504 meeting was so unprofessional. It’s like none of them knew what they were doing or cared. And I reached out in September to the person in charge of the 504 and she completely didn’t respond and this isn’t to mention that I attempted to get the IEP/504 in 2024 and the principal just didn’t respond to my messages or the advocate program I was working with. Not all the staff is like this but unless you have nothing else to do in your day so you can basically manage the school and teachers as your unpaid day job I would highly advise a different school.Parent Review2mo ago20 Reviews - Check out schools near Howard Rd.

"Zoned for top rated public schools! Community has a pool, playground, a beautiful 2.5 acre pond that just had extensive renovations. Location is near several markets, drug stores, and dental/medical facilities, with a full hospital planned for completion in 4 years. Very diverse area with many families with children."
