8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had children going to Prairie Grove school since 2008. It is way different, I understand that security measures have to be taken in the world we live in however the district itself is taken it to an extreme. It is no longer family or parent friendly. The staff treats you like you were an inconvenience and like they’re scared to even talk to you. The schools around like prisons quite literally it’s not an environment. I want my children in so that’s why after 18 years of having kids in the Prairie Grove school district I am pulling my children out. They will go to a smaller school that is family oriented in that cares about parents and families being involved. The district snow bullying policy is not withheld. It is actually very lax and they have police officers that are not welcoming and not friendly to the children in particular officer Rollins he is very hotheaded and he bullies kids and yes, it’s the typical small school district where the teachers and staffing’s kids get different rules of regulations compared to the regular students. The only positive thing I can say about the district is they have an excellent special ed program and that is it.Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews - Prairie Grove Middle School

"Needs work. Poor infrastructure and lack of forward thinking to better it. Stuck in the good ole days. "

"I drive 18 minutes to the store that I own. It is scenic and there is lots of wildlife. We are in the country but close to the city. "

"it's very small and private if you're introverted, but for the more outgoing people there's also just enough going on that you can get out and get to know your neighbors! I like it enough, but personally I'd rather settle in a bigger city like Fayetteville or Rogers. "

"I work in Springdale so it's a drive but the quiet peace in Prairie Grove is so worth it. I love this little town even though I've been here less than a year and will be leaving this fall to start married life, hopefully we will return soon. "

"Friendly, village feel where all look out for each other and the children. Very close to all schools, walking distance. City Mayor and an officer live in this neighborhood,"

"My husband is a native and we currently live here. Prairie Grove is a charming small town with people who have strong ties to the community. It is not 100% walker-friendly, but they’re making progress. Not a lot to do and only about five restaurants. About 20 minutes to the “action” in Fayetteville and 40 minutes to Bentonville, if you like serenity and small town living, this may be place the for you."

"This neighborhood is serene and idyllic. Our first drive-through is all it took for us to fall in love with the area. It's safe and roomy, full of nice people and extremely pet friendly. A great choice of neighborhoods for people that cannot afford the same kind of houses in Fayetteville, which is only abut twenty minutes away. "
