This school has had most of the same teachers long enough to have taught the child and their parents in some cases. Classes are small enough that kids make friends easily and teachers can help one on one with the students. Bullying is a very rare problem and the one rare case I have heard of bullying one of the child's fellow students told the teacher and it was handled quickly. We also have an after school program that's funded by a local non profit agency. It was off campus but we have moved it back to the school where they have more mediums of education (trips to the computer lab, etc). I went to this school myself as a child and have very fond memories. Teachers remember all their students and continue to have good relationships with them. Every year around fall the school has a fall festival for the children and those old enough (5th and 6th graders for the most part) help work the booths which is a fun way to help teach responsibility at an event which the whole community participates in. They have a program (A.R) which gives students points for books they read after passing a quiz on the book. We're not the only ones with the program but we reward the students well.
