Where do I start?1)When school administration openly condones bullying by saying, "Just ignore it", that's completely disrespectful to the victim and a failure of integrity. When teachers don’t say something when they see something, then they fail the child.2)When a teacher admits that our child wouldn't be picked for a school sports team because she didn’t have the right last name, then that’s clearly discriminatory.3)When a child is not allowed for two years to choose their electives because the classes are “full” yet others are added shows a complete lack of respect for process and is discriminatory.4)When school administration is openly disappointed in not finding any contraband during numerous student searches, then this is clearly prejudicial treatment. For the two years at SVHS, our child was never involved in any disciplinary issue yet this past year she was subjected to multiple searches. Every search was consented to as our child had nothing to hide and never was any illicit material found or confiscated. The new SVHS principal brought prejudicial knowledge with him and abused it with our child.5)The school campus was closed during an extreme weather day this past year. The school cafeteria ran out of food at lunch. This is clearly a failure of administration and planning. Also, full prices for school meals should not be charged when partial meals are served. While our child was not dependent on a school meal or financially challenged, those children that are deserved much better.

Teachers have amazing repoir and develop great relationships with their students.

This (and all the other elementary schools in LCSD#2) is an amazing school. It is very competitive to get a job within LCSD#2 because of the workplace. There is a lot of support for teachers and great teamwork is put in to making class fun, educational, and differentiated for all!
