My kids are pushed to learn and do well in many of their classes but for two years now the English department has been a joke. (with the exception of Mr. Forester). The other teachers, especially one I won't name that seems to think she's a high school student herself, don't seem to know how to teach or take the job seriously. My kids flat out tell me they aren't learning anything and their teacher thinks it's a good idea to play on her phone while the students listen to podcasts. We don't pay taxes for this. The school needs to get serious and fire these English teachers and get some that have a modicum of decency and intelligence.

Meekins has helped my boys so much. They have the best teachers to help them. They are a very active school always involved and always encouraging the kids. If there is ever anything I need I know all I have to do is call or go to the school and there is always someone there that I can talk to. I never have to make an appointment or wait until parent teacher conference.
