9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease be advised: along w/their middle school & the transition across the st the thr high-school, I beseech you, DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR HOME TO ENSURE YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS EITHER OF WRENS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. I cannot emphasize thid adequately & only share from our own family's middle/high school personal journeys. Lastly to brief, TAKE HEED THIS: ALL SPED PARENTS, EACH & EVERY ONE. From one very experienced DOED patent to another--STOP NOW, BEFORE their registration to become a part of the Wren schools student body****If you have a SPECIAL NEEDS student no matter their severity, RUN dont walk AWAY!!!! From either their middle or high- school.Even if you meet in advance with administration, multiple times, in any fashion..such as virtually because you're still out of state or have yet to relocate or are looking for your home still, you still have time to avoid the most egregious of ruining of your special needs 1 time only education in each grade as you will ponder home education on every level. Don't mistake our truthful collective testimony alone. Keep digging if this does not suffice. It is all there among us the hundreds of special needs parents unable to go back & make a new choice and we would give anything to! Find an online special needs parental tribe.....do your due diligence in research. Scratching thr surface is not necessary. One may only see what is right there in your face publicly. We are here, we are everywhere and dying to share every detail beyond just this forum. Unless you cannot understand the whys and how's at minimum skip around RENT FIRST during a summer and if not persuaded then, it shakes us to our very core what all you are about to lose and embark upon.. in advance.Other Review4mo ago20 Reviews - Hunt Meadows Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 4 children in Hunt Meadows over the past few years, and it has been a fantastic experience. Every teacher and staff member has been supportive and encouraging. My children needing extra assistance in reading or math were given the attention necessary to help themprogress. When my children would make a poor decision behaviorally, the vice-principal was quick to address the behavior, give appropriate consequences, affirm the child of their value and worth, and keep me informed. I highly recommend Hunt Meadows!Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Wren Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a current 8th grader and while I’ve had some good experiences, the majority of the days are rough. Some teachers won’t teach and will not correct behaviour even if it is occurring every single day. Students can be incredibly rude and staff does nothing about it even if reported. The only teachers that I actually like are Mrs. Tarbutton, Mrs. Wise, Dr. Phibbs and Dr. Leo because they will correct behaviour if needed.Student Review1y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near High.

"No dog parks, dogs generally not welcomed warmly, many people upset if a dog goes to the bathroom on their yard even if owner picks up after their dog"

"I think they’d like it fine. You see people out walking their dogs around the neighborhood. And with the newer neighborhood that’s kind of attached to ours now, there’s a walk path back there to go on."

"Neighbors walk their dogs. It’s a safe and welcoming area. A park within walking distance with a bike path is lovely. We enjoy living here."

"Longer than average, but little traffic and a beautiful drive. Having moved from a major metro, I appreciate not being in bumper to bumper traffic full of angry drivers."

"It’s old and original. I like that most of the area is not a development. The only thing it’s missing is sidewalks. "

"Dogs aren’t leashed typically. They are frequently loose and running around. This makes walking a dog more difficult."

"It's right in amongst the city so its centrally located. Not bad commute. Maybe about 12 minutes to leave the city from any side of the house. "

"Many of the children actually spend time playing outside instead of staying in all the time on their computers. It's good to see them enjoying each other, interacting."

"Great area. Wyatt Oaks is a safe and quiet area. Friendly people and nice houses. Big yards. Been here 18 years and never had a problem. The schools are great and there are many great places to eat, not far from all kinds of shopping and I-85. Atlanta is about 2.5 hours away and Greenville is about 15 minutes! Lots of great things to do!"

"I live on a street with a huge yard. It’s about 10 acres. My dog loves it so much. He loves seeing and chasing wildlife. He also enjoys adventures in the woods. It’s perfect. "

"ASD1 has good schools and a tight knit community. The area is growing quickly and developing so classrooms will either get overcrowded or they will need to expand the buildings. Limited parks and recreation compared to Simpsonville. "

"I’ve lived in this community for 3 years. Most people want to keep it nice but there are a few that do not. Their yards are a mess and houses could definitely be kept up. Lots of loose cats and dogs which gets annoying. And some kids are rowdy."
