My child complained about the nonstop bullying, and reported it and no actions were taken, now my child suffers from really bad anxiety around older kids

The principal is more worried about the school "looking good" than actually improving student behavior. It is a small community, so if you aren't from there, you are treated terrible by the students and dismissed by the staff. (And I mean this for student, teacher, or parent.) ALL the students in Special Education are kept in one classroom - rarely interacting with other students. Discipline is a HUGE issue at the school - students run things and are often teasing others they view as different. If you can, send your children somewhere else. If you can, teach somewhere else.

My children both came from private schools & I must say the experience at Breaux Bridge High is for greater than expected. The teachers actually care about the students & if they want to succeed the teachers will go above & behind to help them. The principal is very active in school structure & displine to create a great learning environment for all students. Don't believe everything you hear negative about the school because I've found out it's a lie. My kids are enjoying the experience & their getting a quality education.
