"We have lots of events downtown such as Craft shows, parades, Christmas tree lighting, other activities "
  • Lauryn H.
"I grew up here. This is a great town on the outskirts of Lenoir and Hickory. Most people move here for the small town feel, low crime, and cheaper living expenses than Hickory and Lenoir. This town is still developing but give it a chance. If enjoy privacy and open spaces, but want to have a small commute to work this is the place for you. P.S. this town is an hour away from the mountains, 20 minute to the city, and 4-5 hours to the beach. You really can’t ask for more."
  • J.consolato
"This is a rural community without public transit like buses. Taxis are available, but a moped or vehicle are really needed."
  • Philip Nicholson
"Great neighborhood and great neighbors quiet houses usually sell pretty quick boat landing down the road"
  • Ashlee P.

"My neighborhood has easy, close access to 321 and I-40. You can drive to Asheville or Charlotte in an hour. 45 minutes from I-85. There is moderate traffic during rush hours but it generally has little to no effect on my commute time. "
  • Alicia F. B.
