9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school for one year and did not have a good experience at all. The teachers cannot control their kids so there is always chaos. Bullying is VERY common and nothing is done about it. There recently was a big fight that ended up on local news, and it turns out that there were already previous disagreements that the school did nothing about. The best thing they can do about it is give you some pointless paper that is written out like this:I promise to not go near sally.Signed:__________(Your Name)Most of the time the parents aren't even notified about anything their child is doing! The teachers try their best, but eventually, they give up. I'm going to use math class as an example. We are handed a pamphlet for every "Unit" that we have. they act like they can spend 1-2 days on one section of the unit and it will be magically downloaded into our brains. A normal unit is probably 2 weeks long, which sounds like a lot, but since they teach to the standardized test, the material is crammed into us in a very short period of time. This leads to us forgetting some of the material before the test. I get that this is a problem with most public schools, but the teachers can at least try to E-mail us back when we contact them about something. This problem is mostly with math and other subjects, and depending on what teacher you have (Shout out Ms. Fancher), reading/language won't be your concern. Another common problem is the "Counseling" at Beck. When you have a problem at Beck, you will most likely be pulled into the counseling office and a woman will tell you to write your problem down on paper. I promise you will not be contacted again unless you complain and do the process over again. I will say that any sort of learning disability is handled very well, and if your child needs extra help if you call the office they will TRY to get it taken care of. One thing I did really like about Beck was the choir. (Shout out Ms.Skillman) If you are torn between your child going to public school instead of private school personally I think that private school would be a better option. If you are going to this school, I would try to reach out to people on the first week that you go there so you are not stuck getting bullied and picked on a lot.Other Review3y ago11 Reviews - Cinco Ranch High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot like it used to be. Unprofessional teachers, counselors, and coaches. Coaches lead by playing mental games with students/athletes. Due to a teacher/coach employee shortage, the new principal chooses to be in denial and pretends everything is fine. Students aren't a priority in this school. Very unfortunate that residents are still paying high taxes for poor-quality education.Parent Review2y ago22 Reviews - Sue Creech Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school offers so much to typical children and their families—but for students with special needs, it feels like they’re left on the outside looking in. There’s no real inclusion, no feeling of belonging.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Harrison Ct.

"The commute is terrible. Many of the roads in our area are one lane each way. Not enough street lights, which causes a lot of congestions at stop signs because people do not know the 4 way stop rules. "
