Worst school in Randolph county . Watch out if you have little tiny children they are bad for letting them off the bus by themselves. They even lose little kids on the bus and don’t know where they go. Forget it if you ask the principal for any help she’s as fake as they get. They like to lie and try to get into your business

"I do not live here anymore. But when I did, my commute anywhere took only about 5-15 minutes wherever I was going. There is not public transportation, so without a car, commuting could be difficult on foot or on a bike"

"not all dogs are on leashes and the owners do not pick up after the dogs. some dogs are mean and the owners let them run free on the block and it's not a good thing "

"You regularly see people walking their dogs downtown or at the park . At the park you can find disposable bags for dog waste."

"I have worked and lived here since 1976. The community of Elkins is rich in family, church and our neighbors. We still have church weddings, large family reunions and large visitations at the funeral homes. Elkins is a college town and contributes much to the economy. The community is well known for The Forest Festival during the Fall. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, President Nixon, President Ford, and President Carter were here as Special Parade Marshalls. It is a huge gathering and very successful. There is much nostalgia and historical value to enjoy for all"
