Growing up in the suburbs, I loved having the freedom to walk to stores and friends’ houses, etc. and after college, I moved to the still inexpensive at the time area, and I was able to experience the same convenience, but near more amenities for young adults. When my income increased and prices went up, I moved into a nicer apartment and enjoyed the constant improvement around me. Now that prices are leveling off, some of the businesses that attract violence have left, and a grocery store is finally moving in, it’s an even better place to live. "
