Great school! I am a former alumni and currently have family attending. Small atmosphere so there is a better teacher to student interaction. Teachers here are great. The principal there is an awesome gentleman who does a lot for the county and community. Super nice guy. If Sports is something that is important to you this is not the school. They do offer basketball but because of the smallness of the school,talent pool, and lack of good coaching they have never been competitive and will not learn a lot . It is also well know the High School coach looks down on the players that come out of this school and will not give them the same opportunities as the JC middle school kids.

So much better than I ever hoped for. From day one, my child has felt welcome at GES, wanted at GES, and most of all secure at GES. I could not have asked for better teachers and personnel for my child to spend the day with. I've read reviews for various area schools, comments that GES is somehow less than other schools. My child is learning and growing, it's a team effort between the school, the home, and the community. My child loves this school and the personnel, and my child feels the love returned. GES is a blessing for us.

Small town feel with a quality education, is what you can expect at JCMS. The teacher/student ratio is conducive to a sound learning environment. This school also heavily supports strong parental presence. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make themselves available to address concerns of parents, and that means a lot to me.
