The High Desert is now the future home of the recently approved High Speed Train from Apple Valley to Las Vegas, including their Maintenance Facilities. This project is expected to break ground in the Victor Valley during 2021 and be completed in 2023. Over the course of three years, the project is expected to bring over 10,000 jobs, increase housing needs, and boost the economy of the High Desert. Engineering work is already in process to connect the High Desert to Los Angeles and Palmdale/Lancaster.

The police don't show up when you call, especially for loud parties after midnight or fireworks being shot off at all hours of the night, even though they are illegal here and a huge fire risk"
