This is very bad school unsafe place for the kids. Teachers not there all the time. It's a big miss..DON'T SEND YOUR CHILD THERE.

Highly recommend JT Moore. Strong leadership from the principal sets the tone for positive learning environment. Very good communication with parents. Excellent opportunities for arts and athletics.

The school has a great rating primarily because it draws from a population who are financially well off. So very limited discipline issues here for the principal and teachers to deal with, unlike many other elementary schools at Nashville. School buses are a huge problem here and is extremely crowded and unreliable, it shows up some days on time, other days you have to take your child to school if you want them to reach on time and not fall behind. The principal punts this issue to MNPS and does not seem to want to do anything about it. Education isn't that great here if your child has trouble learning, but your child will do well if you teach them at home. Very few non-white children, and even the school photographer doesn't know how to take pictures of non-white kids, which is obvious when you look at the year book.
