"Most Dog owners are very responsible about the animals. Haven’t had an issue yet. We have small dogs."
    • Rumsha Tariq
"No public transport, majority of food chains dont deliver here either. You have to travel to tolland to take the public bus. It is close to the highway somewhat but very far from recreational areas."
    • Elisha P.
"It’s great. No traffic that prevents me from getting from my home to the store. I love living the Stafford Springs area."
    • Vegas

"I have lived in this town for 30+ years and in this particular neighborhood for seven. This a small semi-rural town with a lovely Main Street, friendly people and a convenient location. Wildlife abounds and there are many trails for hiking and lakes for recreation."
    • Jancarolb
"Dogs are not allowed to run free but there is an abundance of dogs. Owners must pick up after their dogs. Lots of stores that cater to the needs of dogs. "
    • Tricia
"Beautiful scenic area. Great sense of community too. I have lived here for a little over 2 years now and enjoy the peace and quiet and being surrounded by nature. Just a great place all around."
    • johnch789
"a hidden area of connecticut , new to newer schools, tons of outside stuff to do , many many parks, newly renovated palace theater that feature national acts, plays, musicians , great for anyone , close enough to boston and rhode island for day trips or more , easy access to area highways but not too close!"
    • Louie A. K. F.
"Stafford has the charm and character of a wonderful New England small town! Downtown boasts a theater that features movie, comedy and music venues. If you like antiquities, there are many shops to browse. Did I mention the GREAT public library? If you enjoy music, there's a free "summer music series" on Sunday evenings at a local park and some fantastic music at local coffee houses. From spring to fall, on Friday nights, you can take in the thrills at Stafford Motor Speedway! Be sure to plan a picnic with family and friends at Staffordville Lake which is free for all residents! There are good local restaurants and great farmer's stands for all your fresh produce needs. A caring community with something to offer for everyone!"
    • Susan K.
"Mayflower Hill area is great . . . WONDERFUL neighbors . . . quiet area, close to all you need!"
