Jewell school has never been ran right and still isn't there is many flaws in the admin students get away with saying and doing things they shouldn't but get suspended for reasons that don't even make sense many of the rules are on a teacher to teacher bases some teachers care about the rules and some don't for example cussing,phone use,bathroom passes, ect

"Kids can be pretty comfortable biking, walking playing on their own here even though there are tourists roaming. All neighbors protection one another when it comes to the wildlife also. The local schools care about all the kids and the size of classrooms are acceptable."

"Gearhart feels save and many people who live here would do anything for you. There’s many people from many other,areas (seems to be less locals)in the country but it always feels like you’ve lived around your neighbors for many, many years. "

"close to the 101, easy commute to any of the coastal towns. busy in tourist months and holidays. traffic gets congested and non locals drive below speed limit hauling their boats and trailers. "

"Large majority of Gearhart, OR residents have dogs. The beach here is driveable but partly closed so running with your dogs is safe & fun! "

"A car is a must if you live here. There is not easy access to public transportation. Traffic during the tourist season is busy, but the rest of the year isn’t bad. "

"Many move to Gearhart from other hometowns but the locals make you feel very welcomed & part of the new community, fitting in easily & learning to love it like its hometown. Can’t get sick of the fresh ocean air or the rumble of the ocean from your bedroom. "
