9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children went to SH schools from grade 1 to 12. Neither of them had any issues whatsoever. They had some amazing educators who treated them like their own and some still follow their journey. They were accepted and excelled in top private universities in the country. The school district is so small most everybody lives within 1-10 minutes for the school, so even multiple drop off, pick up are usually not an issue.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Spring Hill High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school not that long ago, it was racist, multiple kids would call the colored kids slurs with the hard R without getting repercussions for their behavior I myself had multiple racist terms thrown at me for not being white and stereotypically profiled I did not feel safe, I was not actually learning, and the teachers say they are trying while doing the bare minimum I do not recommend this school district for any Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indian or actually educated person with a shred of self respect. I was lucky enough to switch schools and manage to recover my credentials for graduation at a school that actually respected me and did not make me feel less than. What made it even worse is that they had very "traditional" views that were not just installed in the staff but the kids and coming into that it felt like they were trying to force the same onto me especially when it came to religion. I am not a religious person but I respect others for their beliefs yet they do not.Everyone is not welcoming and it's not a school that you can just transfer to it's small and everyone knows each other so don't transfer your older children here if they are in middle school or high school. As for elementary they weren't as bad but non the less they were a bit slow to some degree. I would also like to note that at some point they tried to belittle my own mother for not being able to get the proper documents for enrollment coming into my second year there since I had moved out of state she didn't know she had to enroll again and they actually had the gall to say something to my face when she was not in the room in a mocking manner. I transferred the same month they did that.Other Review1mo ago12 Reviews - Spring Hill Junior High School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went here for most of k through 2nd and is a GT kid. I had to do so much to have him even screened at SH and was told that they do not really have a GT program and "it's better for kids to be in the classroom." (45 min/wk of AR is their GT program) He is in an unimpressive GT program at another school (That problem will be resolved soon). The staff returned calls about my concerns, they merely "gave me a bone do chew on". The principal clearly doesn't care about the education there and proves to be in it for her own best interest. My kids bowed their heads to say grace before eating, and a teacher told them "you do not have to do that here." When I addressed this with the principal, she told me (and I quote) "I can assure you that the teacher did not tell them that they couldn't pray." My reply "That is understood by a child to mean not to do what they were doing." She had no response. Best features of this school are security, fairly clean campus, the very few dedicated teachers that care and they are aware that they are far behind on the tech curve. They might get good ratings by state standards but their method of delivering well educated students is appalling.Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near Fulton St.

"The dog parks are large and a great area to let them run free. Walking trails at the parks are also a great place to bring pets. "

"My neighborhood is quiet at times and very friendly for the most part. It’s great for hiking and there is also a walking trail nearby. There is also a park nearby for the kids and for adults to enjoy some breeze."
