"Coolidge Park has a lot of activities and Hollis Hills Farm as well… FSU is in this neighborhood so college is prevalent "
  • Trulia User
"Traffic is horrible, the roads are worse and in snow days the roads are bad. Fitchburg is not a good town to live."
  • Trulia User
"There’s a park near by so your dog can come by and play. It’s right off a busy road but the mart bus comes right by if needed "
  • B_bramato
"Great community. Small town feel for a big town. Fitchburg has only gotten better in the ten years that i’ve lived here and I believe it will continue upwards. "
  • Kim A.
"It’s quiet and I like it. Neighbors are friendly and it’s a safe place to live and have a family. It’s a good place to have pets and grow a garden and have cookouts and what not "
  • B_bramato
"There are many options for schools, lots of parks for kids to go to and hang out, and the area is pretty safe. Fitchburg is not a big city, so anyone you see walking on the street likely lives here and is just going somewhere i.e. not a threat/ not doing anything nefarious. "
  • Bribriellaanne
"How some people don’t pick up after their dogs outside. Also some owners don’t walk their dog on a leash or have their dog potty trained. "
  • Zuleyka L.
"There's a little bit of everything in Fitchburg. Cute small and friendly diners, parks, public pool, schools, movie theaters, supermarkets, ect..."

"July 3rd they shut down most of Main Street and there is a huge block party! With bands, food, vendors etc and a DJ. And so much more! At 10 pm there is a fireworks display and then on July 4 there is a parade. They also shut down Main Street so the various businesses can participate with families for all kids young and old to do “ Main Street Trick or Treating” People love all of these events and there is a huge turnout. My girls and I love it and it’s very safe as well."
  • Alisha M.
