5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and administrators have help my daughter feel comfortable as a new student. She deals with anxiety and the administration along with counselor listened to my concerns and quickly reached out and connected with my daughter. Coping skills and weekly checkins have did wonders with my kiddo and I a so thankful for how they still found time to connect with students and show they care considering how hard their profession is currently.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Seguin High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a recent graduate of Seguin, I only have the best things to say. My teachers were incredible (except for a VERY select few which you’re going to find anywhere). I learned so many life lessons there and there was so many things to get involved in. I was in sports, student government, many clubs, and even piano. I also graduated with my Phlebotomy AND Certified Nursing Assistant certification because I went down the health track. Now that I am in college (Baylor University) I am so far ahead that I could graduate a semester to a year early because of the Dual Credit classes I was able to take at Seguin High School. I cannot possibly recommend this school and district enough. I have seen every side of this school, the good, the bad and the ugly and I would still choose to spend my school days there every time. I went to at least two different schools/districts (because of the military) before gathering the necessary paper work BY MYSELF in middle school because I wanted to transfer to Seguin so badly.Other Review1y ago13 Reviews - Briesemeister Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student from a couple of years ago, I would like to say that fights happen, in my opinion, because of lack of discipline at home. The only way the school will know if there is going to be a fight is if someone announces it. And what is the likeliness of a kid doing so? As for the drugs in the school you cant expect to not have any considering we are in SEGUIN. And many of the kids that go there unfortunately live in a place where they are exposed to drugs. If we want to make the schools a better place it has to start at home and work outward to the community. It takes a village to raise a child but without the help of the caregiver it creates many challenges. To me the teachers are great don't get me wrong there are maybe one or two "bad" ones but there always is anywhere you go. And these teachers deal with many kids and sometimes parents. The problem lies at time with the parents that go up to the schools and try to defend their "innocent" child without listening to both sides. As for the bullying that should be reported immediately if the school doesn't do something go the the administration or central offices. Bullying is not something that should be tolerated.Other Review12y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near Fm 725.

"Lack of a dog park, untrained dogs and people who don’t respect the rules. But the dog park is definitely the main reason."
