6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is probably the worst high school in Cobb County. The administration and counseling offices. Do not care about your child’s well-being. No one at North Cobb returns phone calls or parent concerns at all especially the counseling office and administration.. do yourself a favor stay far away from the school!! if your zoned for the school, make sure you do school choice to another school!!Parent Review1y ago20 Reviews - Big Shanty Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had two children at this school and it's been wonderful! I love all the faculty and staff I've had the opportunity of coming into contact with over the last five years. The principal seems very willing to listen to teacher feedback and advocates for her staff. Most recently they made adjustments to the 5th grade schedule based on a meeting the 5th grade teachers had to further customize their education based on their students needs. My experience has been wonderful!Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Kennesaw Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible. I cry almost every day in the mornings because of this school. Ive received a lot of criticism, bullying, homophobia, transphobia and sexual harassment. Teachers don't care about students, they only care about grades. Ive had horrible grades almost all school year and it's mostly because of stress and how complicated they teach me. Theres probably only been a few times I actually understood what I was learning and most of it I just didn't understand. We always went through different units so fast it didn't make sense. I'm a transgender and gay student, and the amount of homophobia+transphobia I've received is actually insane, I get bullied for it every single day here and I get misgendered on purpose (I fully pass, people who didn't know I was trans were convinced I was a male a birth) but people who knew misgendered me alot. I don't get how someone can look at me and just bully me because of who I am. I really wanted a school and classes that would support me! Students get bullied everyday and teachers don't do anything about it. And I also have to mention that teachers criticise me and my classmates, or just rude! Like for example, I had a bad stomachache and so obviously I tell my teacher about it (expecting her to be kind and ask if I think I needed to go to the nurse or use the restroom) but I got hit with a "okay? What do you want me to do about it?"...Just a horrible school with bullies. I understand if it's your only option but otherwise don't come here.Student Review1mo ago30 Reviews - Check out schools near FLYNN St.

"Parents should stay very involved and aware. While Kennesaw is a good area, kids still face peer pressure, social challenges, and online influences. Open communication with your child and staying connected with the school makes a big difference."

"It has a mall. It also gets pretty busy for its size: US-Hwy 41 runs through here, and it is a part of the metro Atlanta area. It has some public transit from CobbLinc in the form of buses. "

"It’s smaller than some of the larger neighborhoods, only 122 homes. I’ve lived here for 12 years now and know many of my neighbors and get along with them. There is little to no crime in the time I’ve lived here. I feel safe with my children playing outside and in the neighborhood. "
