"Rural community away from everything but not too far from anything. Quiet country life. Great if you like fresh air and wildlife."
  • Joseph F.
"Nice rural community. Not really close to anything, but not really far from anywhere either. Great if you like fresh air and being able to outstretch your arms from end to end and NOT touch your neighbor’s house."
  • Joseph F.
"We’re out in the Styx. It’s somewhat secluded for the most part. Nature happens around us. Great community for introverts."
  • Joseph F.
"Most dogs are chained up outside. Rural area, not typical to encounter dogs beyond their owner’s property "
  • Jack F.
"I ride a bicycle where I have to go the roads are filled with pot holes and the city boro does not care to fix or patch them"
  • Dustintanner32
"There is no public transit here, but a mile or two from downtown. Easy to get a ride share to pick you up though. Could also walk to downtown from this neighborhood. Hilly roads but they are usually kept clear."
  • Mya Samarin
"Has some cool shops and a great tattoo parlor. They have a halloween parade every year. And there's a very nice fishing spot in the park."
  • Andrewejohnson2014
"Horrible. The highway is a nightmare of trucks and overzealous cops. I do not recommend working more than 5 minutes away from your home. "
  • Leigh A.
"I lived here for many years. This is a nice, quiet area. "
  • Aerobee1
"Living in the Charleroi area is wondeful. Great Schools, Excellent Educational opportunities with High School Sports for Boys and Girls! Marvelolus Teachers in Grades K thru 12! Organized sports for Children locally, Churches of every denomation for Worship! Great local Restaurants, Excellent Police and Fire Departments along with a "get it done" street department . Consider the low County and City taxes and you can live better, with money left over for entertainment and vacations. Charleroi is excellent!"
