The fundraisers that they have sell products that not everyone can afford, or would even want - $25 for a candle - therefore not all students can participate. At the fifth grade graduation one year, around 30 students were in attendance, but the same 3 or 4 students, two of whom were already being honored for having the highest GPAs, were then given the awards for being the best in every single subject there while the rest of the children sat there unacknowledged. They go to the exact same spots every year for field trips and vacations even though the school is within reasonable distance to Washington D.C., which would be far more educationally valuable than Dollywood. In other words, it's nothing special unless they consider YOU something special.
