"Much of Roscoe is burn anything, anytime. Result is you can almost never open your windows without smelling it. At times in the fall, it seems like the whole village is on fire."
    • Bossman Ekechison
"I just moved out to this area and cannot really give much of narratives of how things take place out here in Roscoe, but so far it’s been pretty a nice and neighborhood."
    • Didi
"The privacy and serene forest setting allows for wild animals to forage and prance through our yards. "
    • Trulia User
"Relatively close to all amenities; minimal to no traffic whatsoever. Roads are maintained in the winter, making the commute safer. "
    • Didi
"No public transportation, but a short drive to highway and all retail/eateries. There is no traffic. "
    • Fatdarison
"There are no public transportation, if you plan of living here you have to own a vehicle. Beautiful place to live and log you have kids to raise and very safe. "
    • Saddlebred83
"There is no sidewalk. You have to walk in the street and no easy places for dogs to go potty unless it's in someone's yard or the street. "
    • Mallorybrynn84
"Lots and lots of children, very friendly, lots of dogs, cars can drive too fast throughout the neighborhood "
    • Hayleygotzsche
"I drive each day. There is not much need for public transportation. Everyone has a car or access to a car. "
    • Mo3m0e86
"I’ve lived here for over 7 years and I love it!! The schools are amazing that is one of the main reasons I moved here."
    • Kunde22
"Very family friendly. Near big box stores if that’s what you want also have a few antique shops and other boutiques. Close to I-90. Good grade schools although not the greatest high school academically. Good place to raise a family "
    • Smileykylie10
"Not enough backyard space for larger dogs. Not a lot of places except dogs in our neighborhood. Have to clean up after them"
    • Catherine S.
"I've lived here with my family for 10 years! I love the schools and the area! I love that there are so many parks and it is very family friendly."
    • Jeff L.

    • Jeff L.
"Lots of friendly pet owners. So if your dog gets lost, like ours do a few time a year, there are neighbors looking out for you and your furry friends"
    • Johanna H.
"This neighborhood has large acreage. There is a lot of wildlife walking through the backyard. I have seen fox, deer, and turkeys. There are not too many children in this neighborhood. It is quiet and I think the old people who live here enjoy it quite a bit. "
    • Natasha M.
"Dogs are welcome and appreciated. People are friendly with their dogs and have them on leashes. Need more homes with fences"
    • Fatdarison
"I live in this area and love it, nice people, but a little boring and there is no too much to do around. Always quite and peaceful."
    • Jim S.
"there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood and a lot of people walk their dogs. the yards are big with plenty of room for the dogs to run. most yards do not have fences though, so it seems that a lot of pets get loose."
    • Jim S.
"A pleasant and peaceful neighborhood and people seem to look out for each other. Good schools in the area and a good bit of activities available for kids as well."
    • Christina T.
"This is a quiet area. However, for dog owners, there are no sidewalks. Some streets are not well lit. This is a nice area to live as it is quiet with nicely kept homes and is safe. "

    • Abigail s.
