4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike any other school, thousands of kids have passed through these halls and even more parents. Only seven reviews have been left so in my opinion, that’s pretty good considering most people only leave a review if they are complaining. We’ve had a good experience, safety is a priority, resource officers are present, doors are always locked, book bags have to be clear, even the cups they bring into school to drink out of or checked. Yes, it is a very culturally & economically diverse school, but that isn’t bad. My children came from the northeast in a very sheltered small school and have now made friends with various student students. Learning is a priority, but there are many children that are English second language, which may be contributor to the overall academic level standardized testing. These students are just as eager to learn though.Parent Review4mo ago9 Reviews - Socastee Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSocastee high school may seem bad from the outside but on the inside it’s filled with loving councilors and loving principals. Kids will be kids and if there’s a problem a kid should addressing it, so don’t base the school on other kids behavior. Socastee provides lots of opportunities for my student and have teachers that live and support him. Socastee is one of the public high schools my child had been to.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near E Highway 19.

"Lovely residential golf community conveniently located to shopping, schools, parks and sightseeing. Homes are located on sizable lots in a park like setting. Most homes back to the golf course."

"Families in the Clear Pond Subdivision in Myryle Beach SC 29579 are attentive to their children. Many walk and stay with their younger kids when the school bus picks them for classes. The kids are well behaved as well."

"The commute to and from work is a little hectic during tourist season but still okay. What takes 12 minutes in the off season takes about 20 during the on season. I just plan accordingly."

"Dude, my neighborhood is awesome! It’s got everything—cool spots to hang out, friendly people, and a vibe that just feels like home. You can find great food, parks to chill, and even some hidden gems if you know where to look. And the best part? The traffic isn’t too bad! Sure, it gets a little busy sometimes, but nothing crazy. You can get around pretty easily, whether you’re driving, biking, or just walking. It’s the kind of place where you actually enjoy being outside. Honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else!"

"We have lived here either all our lives or in and off all our lives. It has changed a lot in the last 30+ years. It’s definitely way more developed and there really isn’t an off season any more. This neighborhood is in the center of Myrtle with quick and easy access to multiple roadways and attractions."
