Walters, OK is located just north of the Red River above Texas and near Duncan and Lawton, in the prairies of Southwest Oklahoma. This land is unique with 67 acres of meadow, hunting land, grazing land, and ponds. One pond has multiple species of fish including gill, brim and catfish. There are some trees on the property, just enough for good shade for cows or deer. The hunting stands and corrals on the land do not come with the property. A five acre pond has washed out but still has some water in it but will need some dirt work to be ready to fill with the next rainy season. The ponds feed into a creek to the back of the property and are inviting to the deer that can be found foraging throughout the year. The entire property has recent fencing and gates at every corner to allow returning cows to neighbors when necessary. The land has had grains sown on it in the past but primarily has been used for raising cattle, hunting, and fishing. I have moved around to many schools in my lifetime and this one feels like home. I enjoy playing basketball and running track. I also love being in choir too. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei am very disappointed in the Walters Middle School. They state to have a no tolerance policy about bullying, yet my son has continually been bullied and my son is the one to get in trouble. I have repeatedly spoken to the principal at the school about this issue, and the response that i get from the principal is that my son needs to not run his mouth. My son is a 13 year old boy at this age thats all they know how to do. My son has been enrolled in many schools due to moving around and this is the first school that he has had problems in. This being said that would lead me to believe the issues stem more from the school than from my childParent Review15y ago
