"Very dog friendly. Great places to walk your dog. A number of dog parks are very close to the area and very driveable. No one seems to complain about the number of dogs either. "
    • Moestereich1014
"Very mixed families, single people in elderly. Public recreation programs are exceptional. Senior center is very easily accessible."
    • Cara Canaday
"Such a friendly neighborhood! I run on the sidewalks here every day and feel very safe on every path. "
    • Ulises lvarez
"Very quiet and friendly, has space to walk outdoors, close to the necessary centers, park for children"
    • Gwx25dc9vn
"We both work from home so no commute necessary. Close to outlet shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and recreational centers "
    • Trulia User
"I see people walking dog and I like it’s open space to walk my dog too, around my area is bags for the dogs poop"
    • Chrisjslonaker
"A lot of dogs to mingle with . Too many off leash however . Great dog parks as well as regular parks. Dogs seemed well mannered and trained . "
    • Trulia User
"You see people walking with their kids and pets often, friendly people and adequate law enforcement. Many mixed use paths. "
    • Trulia User
"Pretty friendly neighborhood, people know each other by name, as well as your dog's name. Probably a community that would at least keep an eye out if your pup went missing."
    • Trulia User
"It’s nice place to live safe and well kept. A little expensive though. Property taxes have been skyrocketing."
    • Trulia User
"Very safe area. Love living here. People are friendly and there are parks in the neighborhood. Well maintained. "
    • Trulia User
"Very nice and private neighborhood. Close to everything. Could not have picked a better neighborhood in north Denver. "
    • Trulia User
"Great walking trails for dogs snd people. Big doggie park east of Zuni on 128th. Friendly people towards dogs and other people."
    • Trulia User
"it is a safe and family friendly area to live in, there are lots of activities to do in this neighborhood. "
    • Trulia User
"Friendly and safe neighborhood, but lock your doors, cars, and don’t leave bikes out front. Stuff gets stolen around here regularly. "
    • Whitney G.
"I work from home and live near the HWY 36 and Wadsworth exchange. Because it’s mostly multi family units in my area there’s only a few walkable places. Mainly however if you live in the Arista neighborhood. I can’t speak for the more established neighborhoods. "
    • Rachel G.
"Great parks and close to the bus route. Very loud being next to the airport, highway, and first bank center"
    • Pkorslund
"Great neighborhood. I would buy a home here. Great views. You should buy a home here. Nice walking and biking paths, too."
    • Kevin C.
"Great access to Boulder and Denver being right off of a major highway. Super easy to get around town. "
    • Tannya I.
"I don’t go to any gatherings anymore. I walk my son’s dog twice a day; day and night. However, I don’t walk alone. The dog walkers are mostly very friendly. But, people with aggressive dogs on their yards are very obnoxious and unfriendly. I like the neighborhood very much because my neighbors are all wonderful people. "
    • Allie K.
"There aren’t really special events. Only what the apartments put on for their residents. There are 2 parks near that are nice. "
    • Tannya I.
"I’m renting temporarily. It’s ok. The uniqueness is how friendly the dog walkers are with everyone, which I truly like. Noisy dogs are tolerated 24/7 because we are all pet lovers. "
    • Jennifer G.
"Beautiful homes, peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Different experiences exist as it relates to havibg a strong sense of community. Most people stay indoors and do not venture out often "
    • Melissa K.
"Easter egg hunts, free pumpkins for Halloween, Santa meet & greet every Christmas, Broomfield Days, firework shows at Paul Derda rev center every Fourth of July "
    • Tannya I.
"To protect their children from strangers. This neighborhood is old. Many elderly people live here. The HOA is relatively doing its job, kind of. On Halloween, no children came to our door, which it is odd. Walking my dog, I am able to find waste containers. But, I don’t think these people are friendly. The dogs behind our rental home suffer from excessive barking. I’m so looking forward to move out of this neighborhood and go to a friendlier one away from here."
    • Beckblackburn
"Quick access to 36 into downtown OR Boulder. Reasonably close to both via car, but also have really convenient access to the really clean, comfortable Flatiron Flyer bus when needed. "
    • Mitzi F.
"The one neighborhood event someone tried to organize didn't come to fruition; having said that, everyone is friendly, and it seems that everyone is there for their neighbors when they're needed. It's an established neighborhood and a lot of the neighbors have known each other for years, if not decades."
    • Sherry W.
"People stay to themselves. Beware of walkers... Not that much around but you can always buy your basics and a fab of fast food! 🙃"
    • Hackettco6
"Quit neighborhood, mature Trees, pride in ownership. People wave, great neighbors. Walking distance to local pubs or dining. "
    • Patrick R. B.
"the local farmer market throughout the summer and fall every Saturday and tuesday is an excellent place to shop and enjoy music. the 4th of July at broomfield commons park is always top notch though finding parking can be difficult with thousands more people than available parking."
    • Michele R.
"lived in this area for awhile now, the neighbors are very friendly. Shopping is pretty close, and vernice neighborhood"
    • Ssprecher
"30 minutes if there are no accidents. We are halfway between Boulder and Denver. This community puts an emphasis on children and healthy playing."
    • Kaci A.
"the fences are terrible. They're short and easy for a dog to slip through or under because of very large gaps."
    • Ibuyolddolls
"Surrounded by community recreational centers ,music, activities. The Bay swimming pool for kids,as well as another outdoor pool on Midway & Main St. A brand new rec center is being built.Quiet at night & good neighbors."
    • Moestereich1014
"We have a dog park and public walkway available. I meet my neighbors often out walking their dogs. There is a wonderful vet, pet food store and groomer vet close by. Our vet does take emergency visits also. "
    • Tannyai
"It’s a nice neighborhood but do have a major complaint; as a dog owner, I walk my dog twice a day for four miles. The problem with this neighborhood is the lack of enough dog waste containers for dog owners to throw it away. I have calculated that it takes me 1/4 of a mile to find a container. Sometimes, it has taken me half a mile to find one based on my route throughout Lexington, The Preserve and McKay Shores. The HOA for each subdivision should add dog waste containers throughout these neighborhoods landscaped areas, if they want to continue their beauty. "
    • Mtoerne
"Lots of kids and a great community feel! Looking forward to the downtown area being built! Broomfield needs something like that! "
    • Michelleclare16
"It’s a beautiful area and relatively new. It’s full of active people, very dog loving and everyone seems nice!"
    • Samie W.
"Broomfield days is our towns biggest community event. It brings all the local businesses and people out to celebrate. "
    • Brezanna12
"people are friendly and the neighborhood is very dog friendly. I like that stores are close and there's alot of parks near by."
