currently a junior here, teachers are getting fired and replaced left and right, students are vaping HELLA and the absentee rate is 87% through each grade, principal is okay at best and the students are always jumping eachother outside the school at the end of the day.

My daughter and my son attended this school during their middle school years. And all my kids ever did was avoid constant conflict. No quality control as far as bullying and constant racial remarks. when these incidents were brought to the boards attention, they acted as if they were surprised by the remarks. As if it was a common practice or regular for students to say such things. I guess we're still acting as if we are back in the 50's.

I have a special needs child with emotional outburst. Perry brown has gone far and above what they needed to do to support and make sure my son thrives. Your little chats say below average? Way to many staff who just stand around at the end of the day and beginning of the day when they could be directing students or helping students but if a parent gets out and helps there kid to the door, they will all run over and tell you to get back to your car, student pick up and drop off is a joke. Can't believe there's not a better system in place. The "principle" talks to the parents the same way she talks to the students. She talks to you in this little kid voice, which is weird as hell. This school is for pre k to 2nd grade, and there's probably more staff then students there. They have systems in place here that are the same systems they use in the schools of Chicago. Why? Why did they start having younger kids get up at 6 am and the older kids get up later for school? Or is that another way to grab more money? Younger kids should be starting school later then the high school kids.
