3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible and refuses to take accountability for any wrongdoings that happen. They not only allow violence and assault to take place but actively cover it up. The teachers play favoritism and my child was taught during a lesson that vaccines cause autism. Parent/teacher phone calls go nowhere and are a waste of time. One star is gracious.Parent Review11mo ago14 Reviews - Ps 200 Benson School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying and student safety are not taken seriously by the administration. Their bureaucratic efficiency is incredibly low, and teachers prioritize 'keeping the peace' over protecting students. Issues are continuously minimized rather than resolved.Parent Review1mo ago14 Reviews - Brooklyn School Of Inquiry

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThinking back to my own educational experience at the Brooklyn School of Inquiry, I realize that I often felt forgotten, unwanted, and unfairly singled out. Whenever the class became loud or disruptive, I was the one blamed. Any time an incident occurred and I happened to be nearby, I was treated as the problem. Those moments shaped how I view what it means to “see” students. Instead of feeling supported, I felt like the scapegoat, which made school feel less like a place of learning and more like a place of judgment. Remembering that feeling helps me understand how important it is for teachers to approach every student without bias. When educators fail to see past assumptions, they risk alienating students who might simply need patience, understanding, and consistency. The Brooklyn School of Inquiry is a FAILED social experiment, and I'm just one of the grown up GUINEA PIGS reflecting on my Early Childhood Education.Other Review8mo ago21 Reviews - Check out schools near Dundalk.

"It’s a working class neighborhood, so we don’t have tons of events, but people take pride in the area and take care of the community around them. I’m privileged to call it home. "

"there are dog fences everywhere, the dog owners here are absolutely trash. they do not pick up after their dogs. if you buy a house here, just know they will let their dogs poop in front of your house and not pick it up. very common "

"very relaxing and safe. I see lots of people enjoying walking by the ocean... running, walking with dogs. I see also new development coming big way to the community. For the next 20 years that's the place I would love to live. "

"Good outdoor spaces, near the beach, a long pier along the river to walk on, which extends past the Verrazano Bridge, New shopping area and amusement parks. Less that diverse or interesting food scene, bland, bland, bland. Although the bakeries are pretty good. "
