"I live in the countryside. This does not apply to me. I do see dog owners walking in Hillsboro. Dogs seem to be welcome."
  • Rachel B.
"I have lived here for 40 years. I love that it is a very safe area in which to reside. This is particularly important as you age. It is lacking in physicians as most rural areas do. However, we do have a really nice small hospital that is well managed. We are about 35 minutes from Cincinnati and about 40 minutes from Dayton."
  • Evansemfli
"Nice quiet community . I feel very safe. The traffic is not heavy and it is easy to navigate around town to shop."
  • Bob26dob
"We have a small farmers’ market during the summer, as well as a number of festivals and community celebrations, and a nice small-town feel. "
  • Pepper.adam
"It’s great everything is close and easy to get to. About 10 min drive anywhere you want to go in any direction. Traffic is always light besides around noon when every one takes lunch and even then it’s not that bad."
  • Jaci B.
"It is a small homey feel with everything you need close by. Lots of things to do but things close early. I have never felt unsafe here. "
  • Kimberly A. Boyer
"Hillsboro, OH is a great place to live. All of the great qualities of country life and about an hour from several cities;Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Chillicothe, Maysville."
  • Lrhude7
"Family town, for the most part people are nice and friendly. In town most people keep their homes nice looking."
  • Brandi W. W.
"I’ve been here for 20 years. Very down to earth. Country, but a tiny gas station/grocery down the street. Residences, farms, creeks, ponds. Very friendly neighbors. "
  • Logan F. B.
"There are a lot of kids and old homes. Our home sticks out because we are in town, but feels like your in the country."
