"We give this beautiful country Log Home a 5 star rating. If you want to move to Tn, We hope you check out Crossville and Sparta. State parks. Hiking, fishing, golf and perfect weather for all!:) "

"I do work and live here, although semi-retired. Basically we moved back to TN and Sparta/White County TN mainly due to much lower cost of living the beautiful scenery and the relaxed living environment. We find very friendly folks, typical modest rural area with low crime, low taxes, and good value properties. Good schools and bus transportation. There are many nice churches of a variety of denominations in the Sparta area. Locally, being some 30 min drive, you'll find Cookeville, TN a college town with all the excellent resturants and movies. In another direction is Crossville, TN., some 30 min drive, with Cumberland County Playhouse providing great New York broadway style theater shows at a modest price. You'll also be surrounded by many wonderful state parks all within a 30 minute drive or less. These offer camping, hiking, trail riding, resturantes and one boasting the highest waterfall East of the Rockies. Some 2 hrs to the East is the Great Smoky Mountain National Park with Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg at its entrance. By I-40, Nashville, TN is 90 minutes to the West and Knoxville is 90 minutes to the East. Both offer excellent airline service as well as professional football teams an rated college teams. The Winters are moderate with temps in the low 30's occassionally dipping into the teens. The occassional snowfall averages about 2" to 4" in the area. Summers see temps in the lower to mid 90's with seasonal rain fall. The Fall folage in the area is absolutely the best. Although we are selling this property, we will stay in the area. "This home was built new in 2007 and is currently being rented. It has 2004 sq. ft. plus small screened in porch. It only has one owner. Quiet dead-end road. Conveniently located between Sparta and Cookeville, it is a most desired area in the County of White, State of Tennessee."
