"In my neighborhood there are no side walks to walk there dog. We walk ours downtown. There is not enough street lights."

"Although there is no dog park, little to no shoulder on the roads and no sidewalks, there are lots of quiet side roads/routes for walking dogs as well as wooded common grounds. The golf course paths fir this use are for only in off season. "

"sandy town ship itsnt one of the best places to live or visit but its just a normal old Dubois neighborhood where you can lay out and get a sun tan or walk your dog. the people aren't to bad here. Everyone sticks to themselves pretty much."

"I have lived here for most of my life and it's pretty much a small town everyone knows pretty much everyone which has its good and bad qualities but overall I think Dubois has a little bit of everything going for it as far as entertainment goes and the community all and all we stick together when times get tough. "

"You can walk to town and you can walk to any event that is being held down town. You have grade schools close and the middle school. And yes this neighborhood is very in to it for Halloween. And how I know this, I grew up just 2 doors up from the house We live in now."

"I don't see too many baby/toddler play dates. 5-10ish seem to hang out within a few houses with "friends", go to the parks and find aquaintences, maybe playdates with school friends. Teens hang with friends, go to what's left of the mall, hang out at the park. Most parents I know let children from mid elementary walk places "alone" as long as there are at least 2 children."
