7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Groner from 93-96 and am very greatful for the attention and help I recieved from the teachers. I actually learned to speak English at that school. At times I did feel aggravated by one teacher when it came to correcting eachothers exams since I was very shy and quiet and once or twice I got yelled at by that teacher. I remember it like it was yesterday. Looking back I don't agree with the approach that teacher used in that situation, then again now being an ESL teacher myself there are times when we unintentionally mix our personal issues with our work. Believe me, I meditate on that when I find myself in the same situation and make sure I don't make the same mistake. Other than that I am very greatful for having the opportunity to attend Groner Elementary.Other Review8y ago3 Reviews - Hillsboro High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLots of chaos from the kids and all of it passes thanks to the bias from all the teachers. I’ve heard students say the n word in front of teachers and they don’t care and some play fight and get suspended. Learning is very poor too.Student Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near Do Not Call.

"There’s a good piece of grass near the parking area for your pet to run around. There’s always construction and people are constantly walking through the property. I hear dogs barking at them all the time. "

"My neighborhood is vibrant and friendly, with beautiful parks and welcoming neighbors. The community spirit is strong, making it a wonderful place to live. Families stroll around, kids play, and there's a sense of safety that puts everyone at ease. The only downside is that some dog owners forget to pick up after their pets, which can be a minor nuisance. However, the positive atmosphere and beautiful surroundings more than make up for it, and I love calling this place home!"

"This neighborhood changes a lot because it’s section 8 housing so every few years it’s up and down. Most people are very low income but fortunately I think they leave the neighborhood to do any of their bad stuff because it doesn’t seem like there’s much crime around here. That I am aware of."
