Assistant Principal Loukatos has shown a lack of fairness and professionalism in handling student issues. Her approach raises serious concerns about her ability to create a supportive and equitable environment for all students.

Funding driven school. Teachers just push curriculum to students. No extra support given. Some teachers are mean and cruel, some lack experiences, some shouldnt even being teaching young students. No special classes or programs if students can advance. This school extremely worry about and stay strictly on top of student head counts, which drives the school funding.

Mineola high school offers an impressive range of AP courses and advanced classes that truly prepare students to succeed in every aspect of their academic journey. The rigorous curriculum, supportive teachers, and high academic standards have played a major role in shaping my son and guiding him toward the career path he is passionate about. It’s an exceptional school with top-tier ratings, a strong reputation for excellence, and a commitment to helping every child reach their fullest potential. I’m truly grateful for the foundation it has given my son.

One of the most nurturing schools in the district. Post below seems subjective, teachers are on top of any situation when they see it and if they are told it's handled instantly, I know firsthand. There's also Dignity report info all over the district webpage. I really enjoy all the clubs, sports and classes they offer here. It's what you make of it while your time is spent here. The only thing I don't like is the new AP's choice in classroom and summer reading material. It's on the gloomy and low end of literature because she seems to like cultural picks. Another thing is how separated still the dual language kids are from the non, I rarely see anyone who isn't dual and haven't been since pre-k. Most are here for the feather in their cap saying they have a bilingual diploma or need native language classes in order to pass. My experience is it has been is very clicky. This school provides the students with a lot, it's nice, the electives are great here!
