5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeton Middle School has built an amazing atmosphere for my student. Mr. Ashton, the Principle, is extremely personal and involved with each student. The feeling around the halls and inside the classrooms is that of positiveness and pride. We moved here over a year ago from the Seattle Metropolitan area where supposedly the school ratings are amazing. Teton Middle school is way beyond any of the schools that Western Washington was producing. What people need to understand is that this school has great student to teacher ratios and the high marks of personal attention that each student receives from their teachers and staff is not even comparable to what we experienced out of state. It also helps to live in this small community where everyone is looking out for the children and young adults that are here. The school board is a mess and can’t even show up to meetings dressed and ready with their material. The front desk receptionist is controversial and unpleasant to deal with, will dump all her negativity on you when you walk in.
