8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe heard how great this school was with academics and were happy for the switch until we realized how horrible the school is in dealing with special needs. If you aren’t perfect they want you out of their school and they will go serious lengths to run you out. Have an attorney on standby with this school cause they don’t follow any educational rules. Very scary place!Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Ft Loudoun Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school and to Loudon County High. When I got to college, I was totally lost and years behind other students in my intelligence level. My Mom’s friend, an FBI agent, warned her to get me out of there. It is no surprise that the students test out well below the national average. Education avoiders should be proud!Other Review2y ago5 Reviews - Greenback School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was very happy with this school up until this years expansion into the old middle school building. There is NO functioning cafeteria no library available in the 345 (grades 3rd-4th) building. My straight A student is struggling and has complained about limited class time due to testing (core standards) and the need to be bussed between the schools for lunch due to the on set of cold weather. I am strongly considering removing my children from LES next year.Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews - Loudon High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLoudon is small enough to feel like a community, yet large enough to have some pretty outstanding academic and extracurricular programs. Academics are well rounded with teachers that care and the athletic programs are excellent, competing and excelling in most every endeavor. You would be hard-pressed to find a better school in rural East Tennessee!Other Review10y ago5 Reviews - North Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorth Middle School is not what it seems. Both of my students experienced taking classes where they received credit for various extracurriculars that were not actually taught. For example, there was almost no singing in choir. There was not a single art project done in art class (this has since been resolved with a fantastic new art teacher). It concerns me that they pride themselves on offering many electives that are essentially busy work/recess while teachers catch up on their own work. Many of the teachers my children had during their time at North are caring, hard working, loving people who seem overworked and unappreciated. Prior to my oldest beginning 8th grade, I began to hear whispers that 8th grade was the worst. I was not concerned at all because my incoming 8th grader had never been in trouble, is quiet and respectful, works very hard and is responsible. She took 2 classes that were intended to give her high school credit.I do not have time for all of the details but I will say that the experience of 8th grade was shocking. Teachers were beyond rude and play favorites. My child was a "favorite" and was sometimes spoken to so rudely that I had to often stop myself from stooping to their level. My child regularly witnessed other kids being bullied by other students and even teachers. There is a teacher who barely teaches her subject and simply drills her students instead. She gives them an incredible workload and homework. It was not unusual to see my daughter spending 3-5 hours a night on homework for this class alone. The teacher is arrogant and her response is always that the kids the previous year handled it fine. I should have listened to the parents of those kids when they strongly suggested avoiding the class. My daughter was left to stay up late at night searching youtube videos that would explain the subject better than her teacher in order to pass the class. The administration is rude and arrogant. They have NEVER followed through with anything they've ever promised. They do not seem to think losing nearly 20 teachers in one year is a problem. They seem confused about why so many students are transferring to other schools. As a result, the other local middle school is full. I enrolled my youngest into an alternative program because I refuse to ever send her back to North. I was shocked to see many familiar faces from North Middle School in my daughter's classes. I wish I would have listened to the advice I was given.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Philadelphia Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI believe Steekee Elementary is one of the best schools in Tennessee. I just wish my grandson lived closer so he could go to school here. The teacher and staff have such a heart for the kids and wanting to see them learn and be all they can be...Other Review11y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Daksi Way.

"Our village has great amenities. A huge yacht club, huge gym with new equipment, two golf clubs, a building with many meeting rooms for clubs to meet…. Boating is the favorite past time but we also have 200 clubs that cause relationships to build. Great music Friday nights. There are many churches and we are 12 miles from a shopping centers and hospitals. Taxes are low yet services are great. Roads were repaved, we have ample street lighting, 3 golf courses and many pickleball courts. What a life!"

"If you have a family and your looking for a place to settle down. In my opinion , you couldn’t ask for a better place to live. With that being said, it has it’s ups and downs but overall it’s a great small town. Great people throughout the community. And it’s not a long drive to the next big city that has anything you need. 20-25 mins top. "
