"Nice place It’s a big vacation home community with a beautiful lake. Super expensive but nice if you can afford it. I’m tired of thinking of things to type."
    • Trulia User
"Not a lot for kids to do here. Most move away after high school. Otherwise it’s a nice place with beautiful Scenery."
    • Judygc11
"There are several choices of schools here. There are active after school choices such as those at local churches and the Boys and Girls Club. There’s a good library and a nice recreation center. Community events are family friendly. It gets very cold here in winter which can result in delayed school openings."
    • Monkeyman152002
"there aren't any community events that go on here. it's too small and remote. it needs to build up some more"
    • Sportysmh15
"Lots of student drivers and cars. They are sometimes reckless and can be dangerous to pets if they are not leashes or watched properly. However, Cullowhee is a beautiful region offering lots of hiking trails , beautiful scenery, and has plenty of room to run for our furry friends! There are also parks and outdoor restaurants that dogs are allowed to visit, but overall Cullowhee is a wonderful place to have dogs. Plus it is full of mountain scenery to see not only wonderful views of the mountain beauty, but of those beautiful pets as well! Cullowhee is most definitely a dog friendly place!"
    • dthomasturner
"I have lived in the house as a renter. It is a wonderful space. The best place I have ever lived. There is a fire pit next to the creek in front of the property and the neighbors are very nice. The location is very quiet and private. there are only three other houses on the street and this one is at the very end of Timber Wolf Trail with no possibility of a house ever going up on the other side."
