Sports have been fun for my child. Environment is friendly and school work has been challenging enough without kid feeling overwhelmed.Parent Review2mo ago18 Reviews - Bellows Spring Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBellows Spring has the most disorganized and ineffective special education program. It lacks structure, adequate staffing and resources to implement IEPs. If you have a special needs child with an IEP, I would not recommend Bellows Spring.Parent Review1y ago16 Reviews - Mayfield Woods Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is actually not too bad. After reading many other reviews, I have seen how many parents/guardians see this school. However, as a 7th grade student I share a different view. The teachers aren't too bad, though they give a lot of homework and become pretty prickly towards the end of the year. Their view starts to shorten towards the end just like the students. Though many teachers give very big and hard assignments at the same time with only 2 days to complete them. And though I understand that teachers have lives outside of school, so do the students. I have many after school activities to juggle and the amount and length of the schoolwork does not help. Though I must cut some teachers some slack, they aren't all bad. Many teachers have readied me for high school and they all leave some sort of lasting impact on my learning. There are fights and bullying incidents generally often, but they never get too out of hand. The staff are pretty good with catching the fights early, keeping kids away, and intercepting the fights. Bullying isn't really treated as a priority, and though they constantly wave the no bullying flag, when it is reported it is kind of shunned. Though this is only my personal experience. The school is a bit obsessed with the idea of both ethnic and sexual orientation diversity. Though even as a white female, I have been bullied for my race before, and I have seen others be bullied for the same reason. If you took the time to read this review, I sincerely thank you for listening to my personal story and experience at Mayfield Woods.Other Review2y ago15 Reviews - Check out schools near Ctr rustling bark Ct.

"The neighborhood is unique due to where it settles between two cities, Baltimore and DC. It’s convenience is due to the highways and roads that can get you anywhere but unfortunately with some heavy traffic at times. It’s worth the charm that you get living in Howard County."
