The overall experience at this school has been disappointing. Teaching quality is poor, with many classes lacking structure or clear instruction. The cafeteria food is not only unappetizing but often causes stomach issues. Several teachers display unprofessional attitudes, and the principal is frequently unavailable or ineffective when issues arise.Transportation is another major problem—bus drivers are reckless, frequently causing students to arrive late. Despite this, the school still marks students tardy, penalizing them for something beyond their control.This school needs serious improvement in leadership, staff professionalism, and student support.

I was hired as a full-time substitute teacher at this school. During my first two days, there were two students sitting together at the front of the class, they were buddies. While tutoring the other students, they were always staring at me and mocking me. I had asked them if they needed help, they'd say NO and continued watching me and grinning.On my second day, last period. One of them walked behind me and either hit my back with his fist or hit me with his backpack by accident. I turned and the student was standing there stiff, staring at me in a challenging manner. I was stunned. Then another student called for help and the buddy to the student who intimidated me refused to scoot his chair, preventing me to access the student in need.Naturally, I reported both students to the teacher and principal at that moment. After explaining everything to the principal, she seemed understanding of the situation. She then told me to come in the next day to work in a different classroom. The following morning, I discovered in my email that they had COMPLETELY terminated my job. I was confused and the principal and substitute teacher coordinator avoided talking to me.DO NOT WORK AT THIS SCHOOL: THEYRE HIDDEN POLICY ALLOWS CLASSROOM BULLIES TO BULLY TEACHERS AND IF THE TEACHER HAS NO TENURE, THE STUDENT WILL BE FAVORED OVER THEM. MY DREAM OF TEACHING WAS TAKEN AWAY.

I find Sanville school to be aplace where the focus is on bringing less educated students to the average level then pushing children to be better than average. The teachers seem to do just enough to get by. They rarely update the online resources or give students the ability to study ahead or dig deeper in material. It's bare minimum and test taking skills being taught not actual subjects. My oldest child is a fourth grader there and I have already decided my youngest will go to school elsewhere.
