4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOkay so boom. This school is horrible ok, the teachers are rude and mean. They expect us to have no phone but during one of the drills they didn’t have enough space for us so we had to pack. One student had a gun in his backpack, thank God he didn’t use it, the only reason they found out was by a teacher seeing something in his backpack. The food there is horrible, 3.00 for school lunch, you must be joking. The teaching staff is also not great and I’m talking about Mr Furlong especially, he’s saying the bell doesn’t dismiss you i do, yesterday I missed the bus because my bus is the earliest to leave and I need to get to my locker, so not a great day for me. I do not recommend this school and we have fights every single day of school l. But in fact this school should shut down immediately, students are bullying each other constantly leading to the fights. In conclusion I do not recommend this school.Student Review8mo ago14 Reviews - Seneca Valley High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAm very impressed with Seneca Valley. It’s community involvement and dedication to the students is commendable. My daughter is excited to go to school because of her peers and the staff.Parent Review2y ago16 Reviews - William B. Gibbs Jr. Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son, who is now 21 attended Gibbs. My daughter who is now 20, attended Gibbs and now my youngest who’s 6 is currently attending Gibbs. With such a big gap in time one would think there would be changes but this school continues to soar in the positive ways that it has for years… from the early morning greetings from all the smiling faces of the staff and many times who’s in attendance??? Yes, if u guess it right! Mrs Bosnic! Such a lovely principle! I pray and hope everyone has had a great experience at Gibbs as my kids has. My 2 eldest went on to college and Bowie State now has an excellent basketball player ( full scholarship) and it all started from a basketball program that was held at Gibbs. My 6 year old( Skylar Smith) jumps in my car after picking her up at kiss and ride, telling me how much she loves her school and teaches!Parent Review2y ago20 Reviews - Check out schools near Crestmount Rd.

"I just moved into the neighborhood a week ago. I’m familiar with Germantown, MD. A lot has been built up over the last 20 years. It’s very diverse community regarding all ethnic races. I’ve met some of my neighbors. They seem very nice & pleasant. I like the fact the main trash days are twice per week, and recycle trash is once a week. Groundskeepers maintain the neighborhoods. Area is very quite. You can walk your dog at any time day or night. There’s plenty of lightning around the area as well. "
