"Nice place to live, a lot more houses are being built unfortunately. Little town is cute but bare. If you want to shop even for essentials you’re driving 15-30 minutes. "
    • Yvette S.
"I love the peaceful drive to work. Lots of trees and minimal traffic into Greensboro. It takes about 20 minutes to downtown."
    • Yvette S.

"I have lived here for 6 months and havent found many people to be friendly. definitely changed my views about southern hospitality. for the worse. "

"Having lived in 13 countries, 48 out of 50 states I moved here just over four years ago from Charlotte, NC to be near my daughter. Instantly I was taken back by the serene atmosphere, beautiful sun rises & sets over the lake with the mountains in the distance. Crystal clear skies that allow for star gazing while enjoying a fire around the pit and being able to leave the fast pace of work/life behind to enjoy the beauty of all the amenities of living in a lake community. Whether you enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, walking trails, socializing with friends & family this is the perfect setting to do all of that Best of all you are a short drive to several major cities, shopping, mountains or culture venues. My daughter loved the setting so much and couldn't find a better back drop for her wedding and reception. In fact several neighbors grown children have elected to have their weddings and receptions in the community for it's park like setting since I've lived here. I shall truly miss my home, neighbors and all the amenities when I move."
