"The 4th of July parade, followed by the evening fireworks, is one of the true highlights of summer here. It draws families and visitors from neighboring communities and gives the whole area a vibrant, small-town celebration atmosphere."

"I have lived and worked in this area for 16 years. It has been a wonderful place to raise my children! This is the only place I would consider living in Arizona. Phoenix is only 2 hours away yet the contrast in the beauty and safety is incomprehendable! The snow is as it should be, beautiful and fun but not dangerous or a bother. The people here are genuine and helpful and the traffic and crime are almost nonexistent. The town is nestled in tall pine trees making it beautiful year round. I would highly recommend this area to anyone seeking a place to raise their children. "
