Welder Elementary staff is outstanding. Very satisfied with progress my children have made this year.

Our bells at Sinton high school sound like prison buzzers. Most of the lunch in microwaved, the spaghetti is grabbed by the lunch ladies with their hands(even though they have gloves on thats disgusting). I came from calallen which is a very good school, but ive also lived here for awhile, so ive been at both schools for a good time. I would rather go back to calallen because the food is better, warm, and prepared in a good way. The curriculum in calallen is way more elite than it is in sinton. I feel like sinton highschool is left behind with learning because some classes that im taking here as a senior are things i could have done as a sophomore. i would rate sinton high school a 2/10

What a beautiful school...but a lot of issues. This school has just gone down hill over the past few years. They use "balanced literacy" and it seems to be in line with when the downfall began. Most teachers that work there don't even have their children going to school there...at least they have a choice. My child is not receiving a good education here.
