At the high school level, the teachers are excellent and provide an environment to encourage kids with all levels of abilities, from the kids who are mechanical, athletic, acedemically or in other ways inclined to true superstars, and encourages kids with all abilities to get involved with athletics, plays, and academic and agricultural competitions. Weimar has a great UIL track record, a great FFA record, and its graduating seniors earn thousands of dollars in scholarships. I find it to be one of the most integrated and community-oriented, neighborly places in the entire country.
