In my expirence Pike has one of the worst education systems. The school is infested with cockroachs, mice, rats, and accasionally outbreaks of bees. On several occasions we were fed straight up raw food. The entire school is entirely unsanitary. The general consensus in terms of mental health is dangerously low. I don't know a single person who goes to Pike Central High School who has good mental health, and any resources we do have access to are not very helpful. There are calorie count posters on the walls. This is only causing more damage to the already terrible situation. There is an endless supply of things I could say about this school.

As a former student, student teacher, and as a substitute teacher, I can't say anything negaitive about this school. Everyone at Petersburg Elementary School is focused on education and successful students. The school's PTO is very involved and helps the school with special functions and events. The school has a wide range of extracuricular actiivites and sports for students. The majority of the teachers and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional at this school. I would recommend this school for any child.

Pike central highschool has no support for students. Some teachers care others couldn’t care less about their students. I would not send my child here.
